Dr. Scott Gray is the pastor of Liberty Baptist Church, one of the most exciting, loving, and missions-minded ministries around. Dr. Gray became the pastor of Liberty on June 30, 2013. He was preceded by Dr. Jack Cox, who pastored Liberty for thirty years. Before becoming the pastor of Liberty, Dr. Gray was in evangelism for ten years, assistant pastor in Tennessee for three years, and in Indiana for six and one-half years. Since the age of eighteen, Dr. Gray has traveled the US and foreign countries preaching in youth conferences and revivals with the goal of reaching souls for Christ. Dr. Gray’s passionate, Biblical preaching and teaching is seen and heard not only across the country but weekly here at Liberty. He addresses relevant, everyday issues that are prevalent in our culture and that strike a chord in the hearts of believers. He and his wife, Jenny, have three boys: Scottie, Phillip, and Steven.
