What would you say if God asked you…
Why should I let you into Heaven?
Have an Answer?

I have asked a number of people this question and have received many different answers. Some respond that they try to be good people and help others. Others say that they go to church, pray, or do more good than bad.
But, may I say, that if any of those things could take us to Heaven, then why would God send His only Son to suffer and die on the Cross of Calvary?

What does the Bible have to say about it?

“All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.” Isaiah 53:6
“But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags;” Isaiah 64:6a
God says the good things we do are not acceptable before Him and calls them filthy rags.

So how can we go to Heaven and not Hell?

This is what the Bible says, and this truth applies to us all!
“As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:” Romans 3:10

“For all have sinned, and come short of the glotry of God;” Romans 3:23
We have all sinned against God, and we are all guilty before God because of that sin.
Here’s where sin came from.
“Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:” Romans 5:12
Adam committed the first sin in the whole world, and God established the penalty for sin.
“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Romans 6:23
God says the price for sin is death which means to be separated from Him! God is in Heaven, so to be separate from Him would mean to be in Hell.

But the story doesn’t end there. God made the way for our sins to be forgiven.

“But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
Romans 5:8
“ …but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Romans 6:23b
God says Heaven is a GIFT. A gift can’t be earned or paid for; it’s something that must simply be received.
Jesus is God’s gift to all so that we can go to Heaven. He is the gift and payment that must be received for forgiveness of our sin.
“He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:” John 1:11-12

Will you receive or reject Jesus, God’s gift?

Why not RIGHT NOW pray and receive HIM, by placing your faith in His payment on the cross, to take you to Heaven!
“Dear God, I know that I have sinned against You. I’m right now trusting Jesus’ payment on the cross as my only hope for Heaven. Thank You for loving me enough to send Jesus to pay the debt of sin I owe!”
